VirtualDJ can now replace lyrics in a playing track with its new Shoutouts feature

VirtualDJ has added Shoutouts, a feature in its final update of 2026 that lets DJs create custom voiceovers or swap out a song's lyrics while it plays. The tool is meant for personalised drops, live edits and announcements. Private events are an obvious use, such as putting a guest's name into a chorus at a birthday party.
