Free browser DAW launches with real-time multiplayer and custom instrument building

Audiotool has released Audiotool 3.0, a free browser-based cloud DAW rebuilt from scratch. The update introduces real-time multiplayer creation across devices, letting collaborators produce together simultaneously. It also debuts NEXUS, an open-source SDK enabling musicians and developers to build their own instruments, effects and apps inside the platform, which currently runs on browsers and tablets with native mobile support planned.
