Top 5 Psytrance DJs Right Now: Vini Vici Tops the CREDIT Ranking
August 3, 2026
Psytrance is no niche footnote — it's a global circuit with its own festivals, labels and dancefloor economy. Our CREDIT ranking blends streaming numbers, social reach and live performances to cut past hype, and the top five make the genre's centre of gravity obvious: three of the five acts hail from Israel, with Switzerland and South Africa taking the remaining slots. The scores are tight below the summit — here's how psytrance's heaviest hitters stack up right now.
🇿🇦 South Africa · Psy-Trance
South Africa's lone representative closes the countdown on 818 CREDIT points and 7,192 votes. The gap to #4 is just five points — this ranking's tightest margin and its least secure spot.
🇨🇭 Switzerland · Psy-Trance
Switzerland's flagbearer in an Israeli-dominated top five, Liquid Soul banks 823 CREDIT points and 7,528 votes — more of the popular vote than #2 Infected Mushroom, though only five points clear of #5.
🇮🇱 Israel · Psy-Trance
Astrix actually out-polls the act above him — 7,893 votes, second only to Vini Vici — but 836 CREDIT points leave him six shy of #2, the narrowest of misses.
🇮🇱 Israel · Psy-Trance
At 842 CREDIT points, the Israeli act sits second on the strength of streaming and live pull rather than votes: their 7,154 tally is the smallest in this top five.
🇮🇱 Israel · Psy-Trance
The Israeli psy-trance act tops the list on sheer weight of numbers: a CREDIT score of 874 and 10,470 votes, the widest margin in the top five and the biggest fan mandate in psytrance.
