Top 5 Melodic House & Techno DJs: John Summit Takes No.1
August 3, 2026
Melodic house and techno remains dance music's most crowded battleground, and DJ Radar's CREDIT ranking — a blend of streaming numbers, social reach and live performances — shows just how tight the race has become. Only 21 points separate our top five, a field stretching from the United States and Germany to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden and Ukraine. Here's how the countdown landed, and the numbers behind every placing.
🇺🇦 Ukraine · Melodic House & Techno
Ukraine's Miss Monique closes out the five on 892, the only score outside the 900 club — yet her 11,310 votes beat both Summit's and Brejcha's tallies, a striking show of audience support.
🇸🇪 Sweden · Melodic House & Techno
Sweden's Eric Prydz sits fourth on 904 CREDIT points and 11,340 votes, separated from the podium by margins thinner than a fader move in one of dance music's tightest genre races.
🇧🇦 Bosnia & Herzegovina · Melodic House & Techno
A single point behind Brejcha on 908, Bosnia and Herzegovina's Solomun still tops the entire list for votes with 11,550 — the clearest signal of hardcore fan loyalty in this countdown.
🇩🇪 Germany · Melodic House & Techno
Germany's Boris Brejcha lands at two on 909 points, just four shy of the summit, with 11,280 votes confirming that his melodic techno pull remains one of the deepest in Europe.
🇺🇸 United States · Melodic House & Techno
John Summit takes top honours with a list-leading 913 CREDIT score, the strongest overall blend of streaming, social and stage presence in the genre — even though his 11,130 votes are the lightest in this five.
