Top 3 DJs in Vietnam: Angie Vu Ha Leads, and Second Place Comes Down to 24 Votes

By Renata Alves·August 6, 2026

Vietnam's fan vote this cycle tells two stories at once: a clear winner at the top, and a genuinely close fight for everything below her.

At #1, Angie Vu Ha takes the country's crown with 2,162 fan votes and a credit score of 578 — the highest on both counts in this Top 3. She is also the only house DJ on the podium, which makes her win notable in a field where the other two spots both belong to the melodic house & techno camp. Her platform base skews toward the mix-hosting world, with 1,903 SoundCloud followers and a further 222 on Mixcloud. The margin over second place is 552 votes: comfortable, decisive, and not really in dispute at any point.

The real drama sits below her.

At #2, Hypeventure lands with 1,610 votes — just 24 ahead of third place. That is as tight as a national vote gets, and it is worth pausing on how he got there. His footprint is spread thin across platforms: 2,610 YouTube subscribers, 51 SoundCloud followers, 135 on Instagram, and 152 Last.fm listeners. None of those numbers screams mass audience, which suggests his votes came from an engaged core rather than a passive following. His credit score of 440 is the lowest of the three, which makes the fan turnout behind him all the more striking — this is a placement won at the ballot box, not on paper.

At #3, DG812 finishes on 1,586 votes, those 24 short of overtaking Hypeventure. The twist: his credit score of 496 is actually higher than the second-place finisher's 440. By that measure alone he might have expected the higher slot, but this ranking is decided by fan votes, and the fans — by the narrowest of margins — went the other way. His platform picture includes 324,000 YouTube subscribers alongside 7,192 Last.fm listeners; that YouTube figure sits well apart from the rest of his profile, so we'd treat it as one data point rather than the headline. What the vote tally itself says is simpler: he and Hypeventure are, in the eyes of Vietnamese voters, effectively neck and neck.

What the podium says about the scene. Two of Vietnam's top three fan favourites work in melodic house & techno, which points to where the country's voting base currently lives — the emotive, progressive-leaning end of the spectrum clearly has organised, motivated fans. Yet the top spot belongs to a house DJ, and not narrowly. Angie Vu Ha's 552-vote cushion over the melodic pair suggests house still commands the broadest support in the country even as the melodic wave fills out the rest of the table.

The scoreboard also offers a small lesson in how rankings work. Credit score and fan votes told different stories in the battle for second: DG812 out-scored Hypeventure 496 to 440, but votes are what count here, and 1,610 beats 1,586. Twenty-four votes is the kind of gap that flips with one good month, one viral mix, one well-timed release.

So the table to watch next cycle isn't the top — it's the middle. Angie Vu Ha's lead looks solid. The Hypeventure–DG812 rematch is the one that could go either way.
