Top 10 DJs Worldwide: Armin van Buuren Edges David Guetta by a Single Point
By Sasha Volkov·October 14, 2026
One point. That is all that separates the top two names in DJ Radar's global Top 10, ranked by credit score. Armin van Buuren is No. 1 on 996, and David Guetta sits right behind on 995. The vote count is almost as close: 86,057 for van Buuren and 85,688 for Guetta, a gap of 369 votes.
Charlotte de Witte completes the leading trio on 992 with 85,330 votes, so just four points separate the top three. Trance, commercial dance-pop and techno each hold a podium spot. This is a standoff, not a coronation.
Three vote tiers, one smooth slope
Credit scores fall in small, steady steps, from 996 at the top to 966 for Black Coffee at No. 10. That is a 30-point spread across the whole list. The vote counts, though, split into three clear groups.
The top three all clear 85,000. Then the votes drop by more than 32,000 to a second cluster: Tiësto (53,203), Martin Garrix (53,013) and Anyma (52,796), with just 407 votes between them. One step further down, John Summit (33,600), Carl Cox (32,756), Fred again.. (32,662) and Black Coffee (32,523) share a third group only 1,077 votes wide.
Summit and Cox are level on credit score at 979, with Summit listed ahead. It is the only tie in the Top 10.
Reach doesn't buy rank
If credit score were just a streaming leaderboard, this list would look very different. Guetta has the biggest numbers here on Spotify (82,926,860 monthly listeners), YouTube (27,900,000 subscribers) and TikTok (7,000,000 followers). Even so, Guetta trails van Buuren, whose Spotify monthly audience is 15,167,072.
Further down, the gap between reach and rank is wider. Fred again.. draws 28,173,892 Spotify monthly listeners, the third-highest figure in this group behind Guetta and Tiësto (33,463,685), and lands at No. 9. Carl Cox has 982,321 monthly listeners, the lowest Spotify figure in the ten, and still ranks one place higher at No. 8.
Charlotte de Witte is the clearest example. De Witte's 1,788,852 Spotify monthly listeners trail six of the seven names ranked below, yet the Belgium entry is third overall. The rest of the profile shows where the support comes from: 6,362,083 Instagram followers, fourth-highest on the list, and a festival count of 202. De Witte is also the only woman in this Top 10.
Six countries, six genre families
The Netherlands has the most entries: van Buuren, Tiësto and Garrix take three of the ten spots. The United States (Anyma, John Summit) and the United Kingdom (Carl Cox, Fred again..) have two each. France, Belgium and South Africa place one each.
No single style dominates. Trance, techno, commercial and melodic house & techno each hold exactly two places. House (Fred again..) and Afro House (Black Coffee) have one each. Both melodic entries are listed under the United States, while the two techno names are split between Belgium and the United Kingdom.
Black Coffee closes the countdown as the only Afro House name and the only South Africa entry. The data also lists a festival count of 371 for Black Coffee. Only two festival counts appear in this Top 10, and 371 is the higher, ahead of de Witte's 202.
What to watch
With the top three within four points of each other and a single point deciding No. 1, the top of the list is truly contested. Lower down, the gaps grow just enough to give the order some shape: four points between Tiësto and Garrix, five between Garrix and Anyma, and nine between Fred again.. and Black Coffee at the bottom of the list.
For now, trance holds the crown by the smallest margin a scoreboard can show without a tie.
