Top 10 DJs in Ukraine: A Melodic Summit and a 30-Point Scramble

There is no mystery about the shape of Ukraine's top 10. The first three places belong to Melodic House & Techno, and they belong to it comprehensively.

Miss Monique takes the top spot with a credit score of 892 and 11,310 votes — the highest tally in the field. ARTBAT follows at 860 with 10,920 votes, and Korolova rounds out the podium at 830 with 10,740. That is 62 points and 570 votes separating first from third. In a ranking that spans 232 points end to end, the podium is effectively one argument with three answers.

Each of the three makes its case differently. Miss Monique carries the broadest spread of engagement in the list: 983,852 Spotify monthly listeners, 178,180 SoundCloud followers, 1,140,435 on Instagram, 14,764 on Resident Advisor, and 294 logged festival appearances. ARTBAT posts the largest streaming figures of anyone here — 3,778,879 monthly listeners, 623,954 Spotify followers, 168,466 Last.fm listeners — plus 38,597 RA followers, the highest club-facing number in the top 10. Korolova sits at 1,387,624 monthly listeners and 276,057 Spotify followers, with 628,000 YouTube subscribers, the biggest logged YouTube figure in this data set by a wide margin. YouTube counts run inconsistently across these profiles, so read that one lightly rather than as a verdict.

The real cliff comes after Korolova. akiaura enters at #4 with 743 — an 87-point drop, the largest single gap anywhere in the top 10. akiaura is also the only Techno entry on the list, and arrives with serious streaming weight: 3,151,614 monthly listeners and 236,584 Spotify followers on 6,647 votes.

Go_A holds #5 at 704 with 5,562 votes, the highest-placed of three Psy-Trance acts, backed by 565,693 monthly listeners and 225,819 Last.fm listeners.

From there the ranking compresses to almost nothing. Zymosis (690), Sunchase (685), Stas Drive (680), SynSUN (669) and The Cancel (660) are covered by a 30-point spread — smaller than the gap between #3 and #4 alone. Any methodology tweak reshuffles this half of the list.

What makes that stretch interesting is that it is the most stylistically varied part of the countdown: psy-trance, drum & bass, melodic house and techno, and house, four genre families across five names. Sunchase brings 26,884 SoundCloud followers and 38,725 Last.fm listeners to the drum & bass corner; SynSUN posts 41,746 SoundCloud followers, the second-highest on the platform behind Miss Monique; Stas Drive pairs 12,104 SoundCloud followers with 4,184 on Mixcloud.

The Cancel is the clearest illustration that credit score is not a popularity poll. With 5,093 votes, The Cancel out-polls Sunchase (4,481), SynSUN (4,525) and Stas Drive (4,545) — and still lands last of the ten. Votes are an input, not the answer.

Four of ten entries are Melodic House & Techno, and they include three of the top four. Three are Psy-Trance, spread from #5 to #9 — a genre with real depth here rather than a single flagship act. Techno, drum & bass and house each get one seat.

That is a scene with a clear export sound at the top and a genuinely contested middle. The podium looks settled. Everything below it does not.
