Three Points Apart: Anyma Edges John Summit for the US Top Spot, Skrillex Third
By Mara QuinnยทOctober 13, 2026
Three points. That is the whole gap between the top two DJs in the United States on DJ Radar's credit-score ranking. Why the order falls this way matters more than the margin.
Anyma leads with a credit score of 982. John Summit is right behind on 979. Skrillex is third on 956, 23 points behind second place. That is a clear step down, not a photo finish.
Two melodic DJs out front
The first two places belong to the same genre. Anyma and John Summit are both listed under Melodic House & Techno, so the closest race on this podium is between two DJs from the same lane. Skrillex, listed under Dubstep, is the only bass-family name in the top three.
So the podium looks like this: two melodic heavyweights separated by almost nothing, and one dubstep name behind them.
Votes, not streams, set the order
Here is the twist. Rank these three by Spotify monthly listeners and the countdown runs in reverse: Skrillex at 20,814,684, John Summit at 11,868,766, Anyma at 6,927,206.
The vote count runs the other way, and it matches the credit scores exactly. Anyma has 52,796 votes, John Summit 33,600 and Skrillex 14,949. Whatever goes into the credit score, the vote count and the final order line up step for step here.
The reversal shows up in other columns too. Last.fm listeners read Skrillex 2,957,022, John Summit 594,640, Anyma 394,957. RA followers read Skrillex 89,527, John Summit 59,792, Anyma 40,480. Both lists are the ranking turned upside down.
Where Anyma pulls ahead
Anyma's lead goes beyond votes. Anyma has the largest TikTok following of the three at 2,500,000, ahead of John Summit's 1,200,000 and Skrillex's 1,000,000. On YouTube, Anyma's 1,180,000 subscribers sit well clear of John Summit's 360,000.
Against John Summit, Anyma also leads on Spotify followers, 1,032,179 to 835,304, and on Instagram, 4,002,443 to 1,970,343. Anyma's following is broad and visible, and it comes with the largest vote count in the field.
The case for John Summit
John Summit's strength is listening. Those 11,868,766 monthly Spotify listeners are well ahead of Anyma's figure, and John Summit also leads Anyma on Last.fm and RA. Add 247,462 SoundCloud followers and the profile is strongest where people actually press play.
Anyma and John Summit sit three points apart. At the top of a ranking, that is not much of a cushion.
Skrillex: biggest reach, third place
Skrillex has the widest reach of the three on most measures in the data. That means 7,747,963 Spotify followers, 6,675,563 SoundCloud followers and 12,093,275 Instagram followers, plus the top monthly-listener, Last.fm and RA figures covered above.
Yet Skrillex has the smallest vote count of the three at 14,949 and sits third on 956. Platform size alone does not decide this ranking.
The takeaway
The American top three is led by two melodic house and techno DJs, with dubstep taking the final podium spot. The order follows the votes more closely than the reach. The top spot is close enough that it is far from safe.
