Small Board, Loud Signal: XK's Three-DJ Electronic Scene Is Worth Watching

XK is not crowding the DJ Radar rankings. Three names — that's the entire national board right now. But small boards can be telling ones, and this trio sketches a scene with a clear centre of gravity: house music, with a techno counterweight pushing from below.

Drippy holds the top

At No. 1 sits Drippy, a Tech House artist with a credit score of 617 built on 4,485 votes — more votes than the rest of the XK board combined. That kind of voter engagement is the hardest currency on DJ Radar, and it puts daylight between him and the chasing pack.

His platform footprint tilts firmly toward mix-and-video culture: 37,600 YouTube subscribers and 14,656 SoundCloud followers form the bulk of his audience, alongside 4,608 Last.fm listeners. Spotify tells a more modest story — 1,234 monthly listeners and 216 followers — with 726 Instagram followers and 173 on Mixcloud rounding out the picture. Read together, it's the profile of a DJ whose audience shows up for sets and uploads rather than playlist placements. For a Tech House act, that's not a weakness; it's the natural habitat.

Regard keeps the pressure on

Regard takes the No. 2 spot with a credit score of 546 — 71 points behind Drippy — earned from 1,428 votes. He works in House, keeping XK's top two inside the same genre family, and carries 3,373 Instagram followers, the largest Instagram audience on the national board. Our platform data on him is thinner than we'd like, so we'll let the ranking itself do the talking: second in the country, within striking distance of the top, and firmly inside the house lane that defines this board.

Leke brings the techno

Third place belongs to Leke, the board's lone techno representative, with a credit score of 378 from 1,119 votes. The most interesting line in his data isn't a social stat at all — it's the five festival appearances logged against his name, the only festival count recorded for any XK artist on the board. His online numbers are small — 227 Instagram followers, 21 on SoundCloud, 173 Last.fm listeners — which makes for a striking inversion: a stage résumé running ahead of his digital one. Plenty of techno careers have been built exactly that way, gig by gig, long before the follower counts catch up.

What the board says about XK

Add it up and XK's three ranked DJs have drawn 7,032 votes between them — a healthy pool of engagement for a three-artist board. The genre split is two parts house family (Drippy's Tech House, Regard's House) to one part techno (Leke), and the credit-score ladder — 617, 546, 378 — shows a real hierarchy rather than a dead heat: Drippy is clearly ahead, but not untouchably so.

The next chapter writes itself. Can Regard close a 71-point gap? Can Leke convert festival mileage into votes? And can Drippy turn a dominant vote count into an even bigger score? Three DJs is a small sample — but on this evidence, XK's electronic scene has a shape, a sound, and somewhere to go.
