Singapore Rising: Pop Reach and Techno Depth, a Single Point Apart
By Theo Lindqvist·October 31, 2026

Singapore has 14 DJs on the DJ Radar board, and the contest at the top could hardly be closer. WUKONG holds No. 1 with a credit score of 719. Gayle San is No. 2 on 718. Pop reach and techno depth, a single point apart.
Two routes to the top
WUKONG works the commercial lane under Dance / Pop, and the platform numbers fit that position: 374,469 Spotify monthly listeners, 45,091 Spotify followers and 447,877 Instagram followers. WUKONG also has the most votes in the country's top eight, with 6,205.
Gayle San comes from the other direction. Listed under Techno, she has 4,461 votes and a following spread across SoundCloud (24,791), Mixcloud (2,461), Resident Advisor (747) and Last.fm (7,549 listeners). A techno DJ finishing within a point of a pop act on credit score is the clearest sign that this ranking doesn't simply mirror streaming numbers.
The techno core
Xhin completes the top three on 679 with 4,099 votes, which puts two techno DJs in Singapore's top three. On several platforms Xhin's following is bigger than Gayle San's: 52,157 SoundCloud followers against 24,791, 15,532 Last.fm listeners against 7,549, and 3,071 Resident Advisor followers against 747.
Yet Gayle San sits 39 points higher on credit score and 362 votes ahead. In Singapore, a bigger following doesn't automatically mean a higher rank. Votes and the overall score still set the order.
The electronica middle
Below Xhin, the board drops 126 points to Reinaeiry, the first of three Electronica DJs at ranks four through six.
Reinaeiry leads the group with a 553 credit score and 1,903 votes, backed by 58,048 Instagram followers and 3,016 on SoundCloud. VITICZ follows on 506 with 1,603 votes, and SoundCloud is the strongest channel at 12,234 followers. voxeaa rounds out the trio on 488 with 1,506 votes and 11,615 Instagram followers.
All three sit within 65 points of each other, much closer together than the 126-point gap above them. If the middle of the Singapore board reshuffles, this is where it is most likely to happen.
House rounds out the eight
Two House DJs complete the top eight. Loprov is No. 7 with a credit score of 415 and 1,052 votes. The biggest channel is Mixcloud, with 1,134 followers, plus 256 YouTube subscribers. Joshua Hoe is No. 8 on 382, with 816 YouTube subscribers and 2,806 Last.fm listeners.
There's a twist here too: Joshua Hoe has more votes than Loprov, 1,167 to 1,052, but trails on credit score. Votes count, but they aren't the whole score.
The Singapore flavour
Taken together, the top eight shows a scene built on range, not one signature sound. It has one Dance / Pop act, two techno DJs, three in electronica and two in house. Two of the top four, Gayle San and Reinaeiry, are women.
The commercial and underground ends aren't split into separate tiers either. They share the top of the board, and the order below them shows again and again that reach alone doesn't decide rank.
The story to watch is the No. 1 spot. With WUKONG on 719 and Gayle San on 718, it comes down to a single point. Behind them, Xhin's 679 keeps techno firmly in the top three, and the electronica trio is close enough that the middle of the board could still move.
