Poland's Top 8: 261 DJs Deep and No Single Sound in Charge

Poland's DJ Radar board runs 261 names deep, and the striking thing about the top of it is how little consensus there is on what the country's flagship sound should be.

VTSS holds rank one with a credit score of 829 and 6,621 votes — the widest single gap on the leaderboard, 45 points clear of second place. VTSS is filed under Techno, and the profile carries 227 logged festival appearances alongside 354,258 Instagram followers and 20,937 Resident Advisor followers. That combination — heavy festival throughput plus a deep RA footprint — is the clearest club-circuit signature in the Polish top eight.

Below that, the race compresses hard. Regain (Techno, 784) and Lemon (House, 781) are separated by three points. Regain's 6,992 votes and Lemon's 6,714 both exceed VTSS's total, which is worth pausing on: the credit score and the popular vote are not telling the same story here. Regain also carries the only meaningful YouTube presence near the summit, at 53,600 subscribers.

Bass runs deepest

The most-voted artist in the entire group isn't in the top three at all. Tribbs, at rank four with a score of 762, pulled 7,196 votes — more than anyone else on this board. He's Drum & Bass, and he's not alone: three of Poland's top eight sit in the bass family. bassvictim (Dubstep, 725, rank six) and Satl (Drum & Bass, 714, rank eight) round out that contingent.

That's the local flavour, insofar as the data supports one. Bass takes three of eight slots, house takes two — Lemon at three and Emapea at five with 732 — techno takes two, and trance takes one. DJ Remo carries the trance flag at rank seven with 717 points and 6,166 votes, the only artist in the group representing that genre family.

A flat bottom half

Ranks five through eight span just 18 points: Emapea 732, bassvictim 725, DJ Remo 717, Satl 714. On a board of 261, a spread that narrow means positioning is fragile. A single strong quarter of voting could reorder that block entirely.

The streaming picture is worth reading carefully rather than dramatically. The monthly-listener figures across these eight range from Satl's 67,687 to Tribbs's 3,863,898, and several profiles show platform stats that sit oddly against the rest of their own numbers — Lemon's 1,189,216 Spotify followers next to 6,778 on Instagram, for instance. Aggregated platform data can carry artifacts, and no single figure here should be read as a verdict. The credit score, which folds multiple signals together, is the more stable measure.

What the board actually says

Poland doesn't have a monoculture at the top. It has a techno artist with a festival calendar, a drum & bass artist with the vote count, a house artist three points off second place, and a trance holdout at seven — all inside a 115-point band from 829 down to 714.

For a scene 261 deep, that's less a hierarchy than a standoff. Expect the middle of this table to move.
