Five Points Separate the Top Three: Inside DJ Radar's Melodic House & Techno Leaderboard

Melodic house and techno has become the connective tissue of the modern dance floor — the space where progressive builds, club-ready grooves and main-stage emotion overlap. On DJ Radar, the numbers back up the scale of the movement: 1,045 DJs currently populate the melodic board, and the fight at the top is genuinely close.

A razor-thin top three

John Summit leads the field with a credit score of 912, built on 11,130 votes. The American has become one of the genre's most visible figures, pairing 12,753,197 Spotify monthly listeners with 1,796,153 Instagram followers and 1,100,000 on TikTok — a rare blend of streaming power and social reach.

Just two points behind sits Boris Brejcha at 910. The German's profile tells a different story: 1,690,041 Spotify followers and 802,833 on SoundCloud point to a deeply committed fanbase, and his 11,280 votes actually edge past Summit's tally. His 1,962,429 Instagram followers keep him firmly in the conversation.

Solomun completes the podium at 907 — a five-point spread across the top three. He drew the most votes of the trio at 11,550, holds the largest Resident Advisor following on the board at 87,476, and logged 227 festival appearances. If the melodic scene has an institution, it's him.

The chasing pack

Eric Prydz (901, Sweden) remains one of the genre's defining names, and his 848,694 SoundCloud followers are the highest of any DJ in this top eight — evidence of a catalogue fans return to again and again.

Miss Monique (890) is the highest-ranked woman on the melodic board. The Ukrainian's 294 festival appearances top everyone on this list, and with 1,140,435 Instagram followers and 983,852 Spotify monthly listeners, her rise has been anything but quiet.

Anyma (883, United States) is the scene's social-media phenomenon: 3,826,869 Instagram followers and 2,300,000 on TikTok are the largest of any leader here, paired with 7,229,962 Spotify monthly listeners. Notably, his 11,640 votes are the most of any DJ in the top eight — a signal that the community's enthusiasm may still be ahead of his ranking.

deadmau5 (879, Canada) brings veteran gravity, with 2,925,180 Spotify followers — the highest on this list — plus 346,000 YouTube subscribers and 5,413,602 monthly listeners. Ben Böhmer (865, Germany) rounds out the leaders with 3,841,511 Spotify monthly listeners and 55,563 Resident Advisor followers, a profile that skews toward the genre's more emotive, album-oriented wing.

What the numbers say about the sound

Every DJ in this top eight carries the same main genre tag — Melodic House & Techno — but the data reveals distinct paths to the top. Summit and Anyma dominate the streaming and short-form video era. Brejcha, Solomun and Prydz command loyalty on SoundCloud and Resident Advisor, the platforms closest to club culture. Miss Monique and Solomun lead on festival volume, with 294 and 227 appearances respectively.

That diversity is the point. Melodic house and techno rewards both the arena-scale spectacle and the six-hour club marathon, and DJ Radar's board reflects a genre big enough — 1,045 DJs deep — to sustain both. With five points covering the podium and vote counts running neck-and-neck, expect this leaderboard to keep moving.
