Deep House at the Baltic Edge: Inside Lithuania's DJ Radar Top Eight

Lithuania rarely gets top billing in conversations about European electronic music, but the DJ Radar board tells a different story. Forty-two Lithuanian DJs currently hold a ranking, and the country's top eight sketch a scene with a clear centre of gravity — deep house — and a restless fringe that stretches from techno to dubstep.

The front-runner

At the top sits Synkro, the deep house artist whose credit score of 779 puts clear daylight between him and the chasing pack. His 6,824 votes are the most of any Lithuanian on the board, and his Spotify following of 331,994 confirms an audience that extends far beyond the Baltics. It's a lead built on breadth: 169,731 Last.fm listeners and a presence across SoundCloud, Mixcloud and RA round out the profile.

Deep house as the national dialect

If one genre defines Lithuania's chart, it's deep house. Three of the top four — Synkro, Ten Walls (736) and 2Kvėpavimas (682) — work in that lane. Ten Walls remains a name with real recognition: 306,698 Spotify monthly listeners, a striking 212,172 Last.fm listeners, and 21,212 RA followers — the largest RA following in the Lithuanian top eight, a telling signal of standing within club culture specifically.

2Kvėpavimas, sitting fourth, shows how local acts are converting scene credibility into ranking points, with 4,832 votes and a growing Instagram base of 6,090.

A genuinely tight mid-table

The fiercest contest is between ranks four and five. 2Kvėpavimas holds 682 points; melodic house and techno artist Kastis Torrau sits at 675 — a gap of just seven points. The vote counts are even closer: 4,832 against 4,834. Torrau's profile skews toward the DJ-native platforms — 25,549 SoundCloud followers, the biggest SoundCloud audience in this top eight, plus four festival appearances logged — suggesting a reputation earned in the booth rather than on streaming playlists.

Beyond the four-four

Second-ranked Martin (747, 5,758 votes) flies the flag for electronica, with 110,131 Spotify monthly listeners and a solid 57,341 on Last.fm. Further down, Solo Ansamblis brings techno to sixth place at 672 points, backed by 107,434 Spotify monthly listeners and 29,219 Instagram followers — the strongest Instagram presence in the Lithuanian top eight.

Then there's Yabujin at seventh, the board's dubstep outlier at 664 points. The numbers here are unusual in the best way: 328,212 Last.fm listeners — the highest Last.fm figure of any Lithuanian in the top eight — alongside 191,371 Spotify followers. Whatever corner of bass music Yabujin occupies, it commands a devoted listenership.

Rounding out the eight is Ministry of Echology (653), a second electronica entry whose 4,681 votes show that even the lower reaches of this top tier rest on real community support.

The takeaway

Lithuania's chart reads like a scene in healthy tension: a deep house establishment led by Synkro and Ten Walls, a mid-table fight decided by single-digit margins, and genre outliers — techno, dubstep, electronica — pulling in audiences the mainstream lanes can't reach. With 42 artists ranked and vote counts in the thousands across the board, this is not a niche outpost. It's a scene with depth, and the numbers to prove it.
