China Rising: Tzusing Leads, Kirara Magic Brings the Bass
By Devon Pierce·October 20, 2026

China has 34 names on the DJ Radar board, and its top eight cover more ground than you might expect. Deep house, dubstep, hard dance, melodic house & techno, techno and electronica all appear near the top. No single sound dominates the country's leaderboard, and that range is the story.
Tzusing sets the standard
Tzusing holds No. 1 with a credit score of 766 from 5,134 votes. His profile is strong on every platform in the data. Spotify shows 61,706 monthly listeners and 62,143 followers. SoundCloud adds 24,884 followers, Instagram 35,971 and Last.fm 88,697 listeners. He also has 7,729 Resident Advisor followers, a useful club-circuit signal for an artist listed under Deep House.
The figures are consistent across platforms. This No. 1 is backed by several channels at once, not just one.
Kirara Magic: the people's pick
The most interesting result is at No. 2. Kirara Magic has 5,622 votes, more than Tzusing's 5,134, but trails on credit score, 711 to 766. That 55-point gap shows DJ Radar's ranking weighs more than raw fan voting.
The profile behind it is substantial: 53,886 Spotify monthly listeners, 39,497 Spotify followers, 99,100 YouTube subscribers and 19,150 SoundCloud followers. Listed under Dubstep, Kirara Magic is the clearest sign of bass music in China's upper tier. The biggest vote count in the top eight shows a fan base that turns out.
A drop, then a pack
Below the top two, the board opens up. Beyond is third on 513, 198 points behind Kirara Magic, with 1,442 votes. It's the only Hard Dance listing in the top eight.
After that, the race tightens. Just 65 points separate No. 4 from No. 8:
- Yuan (Melodic House & Techno): 467, 1,278 votes - Chace (Electronica): 448, 1,162 votes - Ayrtbh (Techno): 431, 1,343 votes - Asian Zen Meditation (Electronica): 423, 1,101 votes - Poison the Vicar (Dubstep): 402, 1,187 votes
In this group, more votes don't always mean a higher rank. Ayrtbh, sixth, has more votes than both Yuan and Chace. Poison the Vicar, eighth, has more votes than both Chace and Asian Zen Meditation. With neighbouring scores between 8 and 21 points apart, the order could change quickly.
The local flavour
The common thread is range. Bass music takes two of the top eight spots through Kirara Magic and Poison the Vicar. Electronica takes two more through Chace and Asian Zen Meditation. Yuan represents melodic house & techno, Ayrtbh represents techno and Beyond covers the hard end. Tzusing leads them all from the deep house column.
China's top tier doesn't cluster around one dominant sound. The votes come from very different dancefloors at once, which makes this board unusually hard to predict.
What to watch
The headline is the split at the top: Tzusing leads on credit score and Kirara Magic leads on votes. If that vote lead turns into credit, the 55-point gap is the number to watch.
Further down, most movement is likely in the 65-point band between Yuan and Poison the Vicar. With 34 DJs on China's board and margins this small in the lower half of the top eight, the next update could look very different.
