Anyma Leads the Melodic Vote by 19,196 as John Summit and ARTBAT Fight for Second
By Devon PierceΒ·November 3, 2026
Melodic House & Techno is often written off as a mood rather than a movement. This fan vote suggests otherwise. All three DJs at the top of our melodic ranking list it as their main genre, and together they drew 118,322 votes. Fans aren't splitting their attention across sub-styles here. They've picked a lane and backed it hard.
Anyma: a clear win at the top
Anyma finishes first with 52,796 votes and a credit score of 981. That's a lead of 19,196 votes over second place, which is a decisive margin and nowhere near a photo finish. Anyma took close to 45% of all votes cast for the top three.
The social numbers point the same way. Anyma's Instagram following of 4,023,165 is roughly double John Summit's 2,011,040, and the TikTok split looks similar: 2.5 million to 1.2 million. Anyma also has 1.18 million YouTube subscribers and is the only DJ in this top three with more than a million Spotify followers (1,047,742). That's a fanbase spread across every major platform, and that kind of breadth tends to bring out voters.
The credit score tells a different story. Anyma's 981 sits just 3 points above John Summit's 978. Measured on overall standing, these two are close. Measured on fan votes, they aren't.
John Summit: big listening numbers, fewer votes
John Summit takes second with 33,600 votes and a 978 credit score. This is where the ranking gets interesting, because Summit leads the trio on several listening and scene metrics.
Summit has the most Last.fm listeners of the three (594,640) and the most Resident Advisor followers (59,792). That RA figure is worth noting. It reflects interest from the club-going side of the scene, not just casual streaming. Summit also reports 11,983,189 Spotify monthly listeners. Monthly listener counts move with release cycles and playlist placement, though, so we treat that number as a snapshot, not a verdict.
The takeaway is that listening reach and voting turnout measure different things. Summit's audience clearly listens. On this ballot, Anyma's audience turned out to vote in greater numbers.
ARTBAT: the closest race on the board
ARTBAT, from Ukraine, finishes third with 31,926 votes and a 966 credit score. Just 1,674 votes separate ARTBAT from Summit, and second place is the only position in this top three that looks genuinely up for grabs.
ARTBAT's profile has a few surprises. Its 430,000 YouTube subscribers beat Summit's 365,000. Its 38,597 Resident Advisor followers sit within 1,883 of Anyma's 40,480, which suggests club-side standing well beyond what a third-place finish implies. Add 663,043 Spotify followers, 4,828,680 monthly listeners and an Instagram following of 1,028,054, and you have a well-rounded audience that is competitive with the two names above it.
The bigger picture
Two of the three are from the United States and one is from Ukraine, so this sound draws support from more than one scene. The credit scores fall within a 15-point window, from 966 to 981. By that measure, the gap between first and third is small.
The votes are where the ranking separates. Anyma's lead is large enough to look secure for now. Second place is a different matter. With 1,674 votes between Summit and ARTBAT, a single strong stretch for either artist could reverse the order.
That's the race to watch next time: whether Anyma's lead holds, and which side of a 1,674-vote gap Summit and ARTBAT end up on.
