Anyma Holds Off John Summit by 3 Points to Lead the Melodic Top 10

Ten names, one genre. Every DJ in this countdown is filed under Melodic House & Techno. That makes the ranking less a clash of styles and more a direct read on who the melodic audience is backing right now. Credit scores run from 982 at the top to 909 in tenth, a 73-point spread with very little slack in it.

Anyma leads on 982, with John Summit 3 points back on 979. When first to tenth spans only 73 points, a gap that small is a real contest, and the two got here by different routes.

Anyma's case starts with the vote column: 52,796 votes, the most in this top 10. Behind that sit 4,002,443 Instagram followers and 6,927,206 Spotify monthly listeners. John Summit answers with 11,868,766 monthly listeners, the highest figure here, plus 594,640 Last.fm listeners and 59,792 Resident Advisor followers. John Summit leads comfortably on monthly listeners, but Anyma is ahead on votes by 19,196.

ARTBAT completes the podium on 965, with 31,926 votes and 5,167,304 monthly listeners. The pattern across the top three is hard to miss: they are the only names on this list above 30,000 votes. Together they hold 118,322 votes, more than the 89,958 shared by the other seven.

Below the podium, the scores bunch up. Eric Prydz lands fourth on 948 with one of the most rounded profiles in the list: 8,609,093 monthly listeners, 848,694 SoundCloud followers, 1,490,360 Last.fm listeners and 59,205 RA followers. The vote count of 14,028 is just over a quarter of Anyma's.

Fifth and sixth are level on the scoreboard. Solomun and Boris Brejcha both post 946, with Solomun on 14,573 votes to Brejcha's 14,481, a margin of 92. Solomun has the biggest Resident Advisor count on file in this top 10, at 87,476, along with a festival count of 227. Brejcha's profile leans on dedicated followings: 1,730,666 Spotify followers and 1,420,000 YouTube subscribers, both second only to deadmau5 here.

All told, just 2 points separate fourth from sixth.

Germany supplies three entries (Brejcha, Keinemusik and Ben Böhmer), more than any other country in the list. Keinemusik takes seventh on 933 with 13,588 votes and 11,571,507 monthly listeners, second only to John Summit on that measure.

Ukraine has two: ARTBAT on the podium and Miss Monique in eighth on 930, 3 points behind Keinemusik. Miss Monique's numbers include 12,041 votes, 1,310,000 YouTube subscribers and a festival count of 294, higher than Solomun's 227.

The United States also has two entries, and they hold the top two spots.

deadmau5 is the most striking placement on the board. The Canadian entry has the largest Spotify following in this top 10 (2,961,020) and the biggest YouTube base (1,990,000). Add 2,133,597 Last.fm listeners and 2,977,910 Instagram followers. Yet the score is 911, good for ninth. The vote column points to a reason: 8,895, the lowest of the ten.

Votes aren't the whole explanation, though. Ben Böhmer closes the list on 909, 2 points behind deadmau5, despite collecting more votes (12,352). Böhmer's 3,780,419 monthly listeners and 55,563 RA followers keep the name firmly in the conversation. No single metric decides the order on its own.

The melodic ranking rewards breadth. At the top, the votes are concentrated in three names. Below them, several margins shrink to single digits: 2 points from fourth to sixth, 3 between seventh and eighth, and 2 between ninth and tenth. For now, the top spot is Anyma's to defend, by 3 points.
