Angerfist Edges S3RL by 3 Points Atop the Hard DJ Rankings
By Devon PierceยทNovember 1, 2026
Just 3 points. That is the margin at the top of DJ Radar's hard rankings, where Angerfist's credit score of 877 holds off S3RL on 874. Widen the lens and the entire podium fits inside 11 points, with Sub Zero Project third on 866. For a top three, that is a compressed summit.
The genre split tells its own story. Hardcore owns the top two places and Hardstyle claims the third. Geography leans one way too: two of the three acts represent the Netherlands, while S3RL carries the flag for Australia.
Angerfist: the balanced front-runner
Angerfist, representing the Netherlands and filed under Hardcore, leads on 877 from 7,869 votes. No single number towers over the rest. What stands out is how even the profile is: 1,104,544 Spotify monthly listeners, 600,081 Spotify followers, 1,120,000 YouTube subscribers and 751,697 Instagram followers.
He also leads this trio on YouTube and on SoundCloud, where he counts 293,384 followers. Add 213,346 Last.fm listeners and 7,316 Resident Advisor followers and you have an artist whose reach is spread across platforms rather than piled onto one. On a leaderboard this close, that consistency is what defines the No. 1 profile.
S3RL: streaming muscle at No. 2
S3RL, representing Australia and also working in Hardcore, sits on 874 with 7,784 votes. His listening numbers are the largest on the podium: 2,742,759 Spotify monthly listeners and 648,646 Spotify followers. They don't stand alone, either. His 597,641 Last.fm listeners are also the highest of the three.
Elsewhere he logs 952,000 YouTube subscribers, 138,773 SoundCloud followers, 70,903 Instagram followers and 1,969 Mixcloud followers.
If this were a pure streaming chart, S3RL would be first. It isn't. Angerfist is ahead by 85 votes and 3 credit points, and that is a genuinely slim gap at the top.
Sub Zero Project: the vote leader in third
Here is the twist. Sub Zero Project collected 8,169 votes, more than anyone else on the podium: 300 ahead of Angerfist and 385 ahead of S3RL. Yet the act sits third on 866. Whatever goes into the credit score, it is clearly not a straight vote count.
The podium's only Hardstyle entry, also representing the Netherlands, brings 1,157,806 Spotify monthly listeners, narrowly more than Angerfist's 1,104,544. Add 253,401 Spotify followers, 281,931 Instagram followers, 105,100 TikTok followers, 54,144 SoundCloud followers and 135,048 Last.fm listeners.
Even in third, Sub Zero Project is only 8 points behind S3RL and 11 off the lead.
Reading the podium
Three things stand out. First, Hardcore holds a narrow but real edge at the summit, taking the top two spots. Second, the Netherlands is the strongest country in this top three, with two entries. Third, no single metric decides the order: the biggest Spotify audience finishes second and the most-voted act finishes third.
That third point matters most for the leader. Angerfist isn't first on votes or on Spotify, but he is first where it counts.
With 11 points covering all three places, a small shift could reshuffle this podium. For now, Angerfist holds the top spot by 3 points. It is a slim margin, but it is still a lead.
