Adam Beyer: Sweden's Techno Heavyweight by the Numbers

A Techno Name That Needs Little Introduction

Some profiles on DJ Radar take some explaining. Adam Beyer's doesn't. He is a techno artist from Sweden, and his numbers show reach across streaming, social media, DJ-mix platforms and the festival circuit.

This piece doesn't rest on one headline figure. It looks at how the numbers fit together, and they point the same way.

Standing on DJ Radar

Beyer holds a credit score of 941 on DJ Radar, backed by 13,675 votes. Those are two different things. The credit score is our overall read on an artist's standing. The vote count shows how many fans took the time to back him.

A vote total of 13,675 means the support comes from a wide base, not a small loyal circle. For an artist working in techno, a genre that values the dancefloor more than mass-market exposure, that kind of active backing is worth noting.

Streaming: Listeners and Loyalists

On Spotify, Beyer draws 1,570,773 monthly listeners and has 394,131 followers. The gap between those two figures is normal for club-focused artists. Monthly listeners include anyone who heard a track in playlists, on radio-style streams or in passing. Followers are people who chose to subscribe.

Having nearly 400,000 followers means a large committed core sits inside a much bigger casual audience. That base is what turns a release into an event and not just one more track in a feed.

Last.fm adds another angle, with 205,036 listeners recorded. Those users log their listening habits on purpose, so the figure shows sustained interest, not one-off exposure.

The DJ's Platforms

Techno lives in the long-form set as much as the single track, and Beyer's numbers on DJ-focused platforms back that up.

He has 574,778 SoundCloud followers and 197,899 on Mixcloud. Both are places where mixes, live recordings and longer pieces find their audience. Strong numbers on both suggest fans come for his work behind the decks, not only his releases.

On Resident Advisor, the reference platform for club culture, he counts 58,237 followers. RA follows usually come from people who track lineups and buy tickets, so they serve as a proxy for real-world demand.

Social and Video

On Instagram, Beyer has 909,661 followers, the largest figure on his social side. It fits the overall picture: an artist whose audience follows the person as well as the music.

YouTube is smaller at 55,100 subscribers. For a DJ whose output is spread across SoundCloud, Mixcloud and streaming services, that lower number isn't surprising. Video is simply one channel among several.

On the Festival Circuit

Our data records a festival count of 247 for Beyer. Alongside his RA following, it points to an artist with a steady live presence, not just a strong online one.

What It Adds Up To

No single figure here carries the story, and that's the point. Beyer's profile is balanced:

- A 941 credit score and 13,675 votes on DJ Radar - More than 1.5 million monthly Spotify listeners - Six-figure followings on SoundCloud, Mixcloud, Last.fm and Spotify - A festival count of 247

In a genre where reputations are built in clubs and festival fields, that consistency counts. Beyer isn't strong on one channel and absent from the rest. He shows up across every platform we track, and DJ Radar voters have backed him in large numbers.
